Campaign Watch: Lacoste and French Connection

I love a good fashion campaign! Even if I am not a fan of the brand itself, good marketing can go a long way. Campaigns can be seen in magazines, on billboards and in various other places and are used to draw attentions to a new shop/designers up coming range of just for promotional purpose. The more the campaign sticks in your mind the better.

This is why I am loving Lacoste and French Connections recent campaigns...

Lacoste : Contains fashion models Anja Rubik, Jon Kortajarena, Noah Mills and Liya Kebede. Photographed by Mert & Marcus the models sport labels well-fitted skirts, polos and pants in the studio spread. The tagline for this campaign is "Unconventional Chic" teamed with the imagines works fantastically!

French Connection : This campaign is great because it challenges the basic idea of what it is to be a man or a woman. The models are photographed in different situations which can be seen to contradict what it is meant to 'act' like a woman or a man. Both funny and well done!
