The other day I was watching the morning television programme called 'Daybreak' and one of the presenters had on the most amazing shoes, they were stand out green, peeptoe, suede, stiletto shoes with an ankle strap. When I saw them...I had to find them!
So they other day when I was doing a little online window shopping I discovered these shoes on the Office website. Low and behold they are part of the PPQ at Office range and I have to say these shoes are differently fabulous. There are 10 statement styles to choose from and they are all quirky and unique which is similar to PPQ's main collection.
Here are my favourite ones:
Amina Platform, Catwalk Sandal.
Catwalk Wedge, Menna Bow Sandal.
Tiziri Stiletto in Black, Green (As Seen on Daybreak) and Red.
I have recently done a post for the brand Marc B and I am still loving their bags and to my delight their new Spring/ Summer collection has gone live! So go on to their website Marc B Spring/Summer and have a look because you are sure to find something that takes your fancy.
Here is what the website had to say about the new collect:
"Marc b are delighted to present their new S/S11 collection. The range includes everything from re-worked classics with antique lace detailing, modern toughened-up styles, revamped satchels and luxurious clutches in classic functional shapes. Think Debbie Harry meets Bianca Jagger at studio 54’ with a sophisticated 70’s biker chic edge"
Franklin and Marshall is an American brand which caught my fancy a little while ago. If you are in to that all America look of sweatshirts, sports jackets, polo tees and cardigan then this is the brand for you. It is not stocked in a lot of shops in the UK so it is hard to find a their full range of stock. But if you look on their website you can see all the great pieces they have!
P.S if you are looking for Franklin and Marshall on the highstreet it can be found on the ASOS website and in Urban Outfitters.
When I am out on a Friday night, the most important part of my outfit has to be the shoes. I'm the kind of girl who buys her shoes first and then has to find the rest of the outfit to match! It may sound a little backwards but that is just the way I work!
Shoes are an important part of any outfit and can make or break you (ok well not that dramatic but you get the picture lol)!! I have mentioned before I never really like to go for the same old boring predictable shoe and if I can avoid wearing black I will.
That is why I have been on the hunt for some exciting new party shoes. Here are my top pick of the shoes on the high street (p.s Office and River Island are two of the best places to go for party shoes):
Miss Selfridge Louisa Grey Crystal Heels, Office Madagascar Heels.
Office Metal Case, Office Money Bags.
Office The Look Shoe, River Island Beige Strap Sandals.
River Island Gold Platform Shoes, River Island Purple Stud Court Shoe.
Jessie J is big on the music scene at the moment with smash hits such as "Dude it like a dude" and "Price Tag". I am loving her music as well as her quirky style. Normally her style of dressing is not my usual cup of tea, but on her it just works. She stands out and is different and that seems to suit her personality down to a T.
Her style is definitely rock chic and glamorous and she seems to really like wearing funky in your face tights. She isn't afraid to wear colour which fits in with her look of standing out as much as possible.
So whether you love it our hate it here are a few of my favourite looks:
To be a little bit more specific, I really want a pair of Topshop S/S wedges!! They just scream summer and they come in various different colours that can be styled with every outfit you own.
The funny thing is I never used to like wedges but recently they have started to grow on me. You get the height and sexiness of wearing heels but they are a lot more comfortable and keep your feet a lot more level without feeling like you are going to fall over!
So if you wish to still feel glam in the sunlight but still comfortable have a look at some of Topshop wedged sandals:
Topshop Wizard Suede Wedges in Green, Orange, and Black.
No, I haven't gone all rock chick on you but the new trend I have discovered is the skater style. These can come in either the skirt or dress form and are a nice in between if you do not want to wear a maxi or a mini. It is also a perfect Spring/Summer look that anyone can pull off.
I am not exactly sure as to why they are called skater skirts/ dresses but they can be described as similar to the A line' here are a look at some of my favs on the high streets:
Asos Broderie Skater Skirt, Asos Floral Jersey Skater Skirt.
Asos Lexie Sequin Trim Skater Dress, Asos Petite Exclusive Chiffon Panel Mini Skater Dress.
If you haven't seen already Katy Perry is the new face of Thomas Sabo. A very smart move for the brand because she is at the peak of her career and will bring a lot of attention to the brand.
I have always been a fan of Thomas Sabo Jewellery and I believe it is very under rated. They have a lot of cute pieces and a great place if you are a big fan of charms like I am. This is a brand I would definitely recommend having a look at whether it be for yourself or seeing as Mother's day is coming up...Treat your mum!
Here are the pictures of Katy Perry enjoy and check out the website Thomas Sabo:
It's very surprising that I haven't done a style watch for Mrs Beckham before, because she is one of my favourite celebrities! She always looks good, no matter where she is or what she wears and I think I have never seen her dressed badly.
So I could find a million pictures of her wearing outfits that I like so I will try not to go crazy. She is definately a style icon and with her growing fashion brand as well she is a great candidate for style watch.
